Estate Sale Goddess seeks staff to join our team!
If you've ever thought, "WOWZERS! I’d love to work with Estate Sale Goddess!" now is the time to apply! That said, this is what really goes on behind the curtain.
But first, kudos if you’ve worked with an estate sale company in the past! We prefer folks with knowledge of antiques, collectibles, clothing, handbags, art, jewelry, records—vintage EVERYTHING. Candidates must have knowledge of item values, yes LOVE people, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. The work is not easy nor pretty; we just make it look that way. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and take direction well.

SET UP
Set up is not easy. We seek fast, efficient people who can focus and handle physical work. Our goal is to always make our sales look like Marshall Fields! That takes heavy lifting, arranging furniture, picking up, putting down, walking up staircases, down the basement steps, unearthing treasures in backs of closets, shelves, under tables, on top of China cabinets, attics etc. You may be tasked with the kitchen and bedrooms. May be asked to clean sterling. Like the commercial says, “gotta be quick about it,” as time is money. But please know, Estate Sale Goddess offers a FUN atmosphere, wherever we are. Our team members are all GREAT people. Re-sellers, eBayers need not apply.
This is a work opportunity, NOT a buying opportunity. Perfect for college students that need a summer gig, teachers off for the summer or retirees. Hours vary. This is a part-time position. Sales and workdays are 9-3pm. Must have a vehicle.
SALES
Estate Sale Goddess seeks reliable, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Must treat all buyers with respect! We are known for having friendly salespeople. Greet, smile, repeat! Must be able to stand for 6 hours. I don’t ever sit! (Helps me get in my daily 10K steps). This is where your vintage/antique knowledge comes in. We need pricers AND salespeople!
Punctuality and reliability are also important for this one — two strikes and you are out! Waitstaff, teachers, and retail folk strongly encouraged to apply! Lunch is on the “go.”
The pay is $150 per shift. We all hump, but we laugh as we work throughout the day and boy does the time fly!
