Meet Betty Jean. AWARD WINNING Chicago Public Elementary school Principal! Style and grace was her middle name. Her wardrobe consists of tailored suits, in rich fabrics and colors. She loved jewelry and her collection shows! Ladies don't forget a scarf is an accessory that speaks volumes about style.

Ms Betty Jean clearly understood the assignment-we are still making our way through her second WALK-IN closet.  Her boots and shoes are impeccable. Some sensible and smart, but the vast majority look to be "runway ready."

A classic woman. Appearance was very important to her. As an award winning high school Principal she had an image to uphold. Her hairstyle of choice was a chin length Bob. Her home is a reflection of her European travels. She dug Paris, Luxemburg, Switzerland and traveled with her girlfriends.

Ms Betty Jean's estate boast rugs, Black art, jewelry, mid century modern lighting, furs, clothing, boots, shoes, vases, sterling, crystal... Her bookshelf shows a love of Black history and design. And that kitchen! If you are an aspiring Chef or still recognize that entertaining is an art form-come and get your beautiful dinnerware, flatware, pots, bakeware, small (STILL BOXED) small appliances.

Her friends say she was strong but not harsh. She knew the difference between a soft no and a hard "listen, I said NO," and how to say it without backlash. She was passionate about education but also about cultivating a beautiful comfortable, zen home.
