The museum was originally located at 3649 S Michigan ave in the heartbeat of Chicago’s Bronzeville. \nThe BRILLANT Dr. Walter Williams penned 2 bestsellers. “The Historical Origin of Islam\,” and “The Historical Origin of Christianity.” \nIts said that at the age of 92 Dr. Williams was able to remember exactly what he wrote in his books. Many say his depth of knowledge and intellect far surpassed any other teachers of religion. He was known as THE MASTER TEACHER. \nDr. Williams will always be remembered for his contribution to the Chicago jazz scene\, his scholarship and community enrichments. \nThe estate liquidation consists of FOUR DAYS. April 24-27th\, from 9-3pm. The estate liquidation is on TWO floors. Dr Williams collected BLACK art and this estate houses an extensive collection of Dr Burroughs works. The largest we’ve ever seen! Burroughs works are becoming increasingly scarce. Also in his art collection-Donny Carter\, Melvin King\, Elaine Dungill\, LeRoy Nieman\, Picasso\, David Mosley\, original historic posters\, Freddie Ellis and MANY more! There’s a top floor where additional books may be found\, and also many scattered throughout the estate.
